Bablake rebrand,
website and collateral
“Branding is the art of becoming known, likeable and trustworthy.”
John Jantsch
The friendly lion
Bablake School is one of the UK’s premier and oldest co-educational independent schools and Mustard has been producing a variety of projects for the School for well over 20 years. Recently a refresh of the brand was undertaken utilising new versions of the Bablake Lion that was intended to be more friendly and approachable than previous versions whilst retaining a classical feel. One version is for marketing the School through print and web applications, the other is for merchandising and other applications where an even more engaging approach is required. The School’s award-winning magazine and annual report ‘The Wheatleyan’ is one of the longest running school magazines in the country having been in publication for over 200 years. It has grown from humble beginnings into a 112 page colour publication that celebrates the life, experiences and achievements of pupils and staff in the preceding academic year. As well as producing the prospectuses for the Senior and Junior Schools, Mustard has been entrusted with the design and production of ‘The Wheatleyan’ for the last twelve years.
